1966 Plymouth Valiant
Terry & Sandi Coreno
Our ‘66 Plymouth Valiant was purchased new at Berea Chrysler Plymouth in Berea Ohio, yes we’re the original owners. It has 55,800 original miles and is numbers matching. The car retains the original top, chrome, glass and interior and has had two repaints in the original color - light Mauve Metallic and is one of 2,507 convertibles produced that year. Our favorite shows are cruisin’ Brunswick’s Laurel Square on Sat night, Grace Church on Thursday night and going to the Bob Gillingham show.
PS. You will never see a classified ad for this car.
'96 Camaro Drag Car
My Son, JP Schuster''s car was made into a race car when it was brand new and has 1,924 miles on it. He recently graduated with honors (May 16, 2015) from Youngstown State University. But instead of the normal Graduation party that day, JP was back at the track (Summit Motorsports Park, Norwalk Oh.), for the second round of qualifying for the NHRA Cavalcade of Stars.
Things wouldn't be possible without the help of our crew, Paul Schuster, Wife Barb, Daughter Jessica, Son N Law Brandon, Grandson Braydon, as we race at mulitple tracks: Quacker City, Summit Motorsports Park, National Trail, Pittsburgh Raceway Park, Indy Raceway Park and soon Dragway 42.
The car was updated a few years ago, while Dean of McIlvaine Race Cars in New Carlisle Oh. updated the chassis.
Motor-wise: it's 327/275 HP with a Quadrajet and completes in F/Automatic GT/Super Stock and runs 10.50 ET. Needless to say, I'm a Proud Father!!

1948 Chevy P/U
We caught up with Howard’s “fire breathin’ ‘48 at the Spring Dustoff in New Castle a few months back, but it wasn’t the first time we’ve seen his truck, as we think it was one of the first to have the new “fire” look and I believe it was a few years ago at a Wednesday night cruise-in at the World Famous Midway Bar & Grille outside Monaca Pa.
The Chevy has all the right stuff and big on louvers: including a louvered sunvisor, hood and tail gate with mural.
1969 Dodge Dart
1963 Ford Fairlane
Jon & JoAnn Misner
My brother, Ross Misner, bought this Dodge Dart in Akron in the 1970's. He raced the car for a few years and sold in 1974. Back in 2012 my brother and I found it in a old barn torn apart. Our plan was to rebuild it back to its original glory. Ross passed away before we could do this, so my sons and I welded, sanded, and welded (lol). We got it running again after 2 years. It still has the original paint from the 70s racing era. It is mildly built 340 with X heads.
My brother also had a 1963 Ford Fairlane he made into a tribute car to Bob Tasca. We got this car also when he passed away. The Fairlane has a 302 c.i motor, bored .040 over, and stoked to 347. with .600 in. of lift.
Together myself, wife and kids take the cars to shows to keep my brothers memories alive.
1989 Pontiac TA
My car is a 1989 Pontiac 20th Anniversary Trans Am, which I have owned this limited production car since 2010. With only 1550 made, it is very collectible. The 1989 Turbo Trans Am Pace Car is special. It was the first car to pace the Indy 500 with no modifications other than strobe lights and a camera. It is powered by a Buick V-6 turbocharged engine, made famous by the Buick Grand National. My TTA is original and all stock. I enjoy driving it to cruise-ins and local shows. I love talking to other "cruisers" about it, because it is so unique. It is most often, one of the few Trans Ams present, and with it being 25 years old, has reached historical status. I plan on keeping it for a long time. It is a very fun car to drive!"
